To be able to open an Adobe InDesign CS5.5 file in CS2 there are a few steps you need to do:
- Open the file in InDesign CS5.5 and save the file as an IDML (InDesign Markup Language) file, using the Export options from the File menu.
- Then in CS4 open this IDML file and export it to an .inx file.
- Now open the INX file in InDesign CS3 and export to a CS3 inx file and will open up in InDesign CS2 .
If you don’t have Adobe InDesign CS5.5, CS4 and CS3 we offer a InDesign down-saving service to help open the file into the CS version you require.
